Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre (WCDT) is the resident touring dance company at Wichita State University. The company has been accepted on the Kansas Arts Commission touring roster. WCDT tours regionally and nationally.

Dance majors at Wichita State University work with Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre on a regular basis. The strong performers that are developed through the training at WSU have the opportunity to perform and tour with the company. WCDT and MADT (Mid-America Dance Theatre) are very active in the community, and perform in many venues around Wichita. Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre has recently toured through Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and several locations within Kansas.
