Every year, WSU hosts the Kansas Dance Festival (KDF). This festival invites dancers from dance programs throughout the region (and beyond) to join the WSU dancers for a weekend of classes and performances that celebrate the dance community's diversity and excellence. We are excited to be hosting yet another year of the Kansas Dance Festival. This year's festival will be held November 14th & 15th, 2008. This invitational dance festival celebrates the diversity and excellence of our region's many dance programs. Audiences are invited to join us for two evenings of exciting dance performances, November 14th & 15, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Concert Hall. For tickets, call 316-978-3233.

Kansas Dance Festival SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS FOR WSU DANCE PROGRAM Saturday, November 15th, 2008 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Heskett Center Dance Studios This will be a group audition consisting of three combinations in the different disciplines we emphasize: ballet, modern and jazz. Please bring ballet and jazz shoes and be ready to dance barefoot. Women should wear leotard and tights or leggings. Men should wear a plain colored fitted t-shirt and tights or leggings.
