CURRENT STUDENTS

Dear Fine Arts supporter,

     The Mid-America Dance Theatre (MADT) student organization is delighted to announce that the Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre has been invited to perform in Taiwan in May 2008. The tour is four performances in three cities - Taichung, Tainan, and Taipei. The guest artist's work "beyond.words" has been invited to the National Taichung Special Education School for one performance.

      Through your support and contributions, our performers and faculty have been able to spread the excitement of the Wichita State University , School of Performing Arts Dance Program throughout the international community. Our program has maintained a spotlight on Wichita by presenting renowned companies, inviting exciting choreographers, and creating world premier choreography. Please continue to support us through our "Buy-a-Mile" program and help us make it to Taiwan. Cultural and artistic experiences like these prove invaluable to young performers during their journeys through art, careers, and life.
