Piano Class (children
ages 7-10)
Children
learn music fundamentals through fun activities during the class
lesson each week. Piano pedagogy majors teach an individual lesson
each week
that reinforces class lessons and helps students develop practice habits.
The piano curriculum prepares students for the Kansas Music
Teachers
Association (KMTA) Music Progressions Auditions. At the end of the
session, students present a program for family and friends.
Course
Dates: September 15- December 13 (no classes October 16-17
and November 24-29)
Time: A one-hour class and a 30-minute lesson once
a week, time and date to be arranged with the instructor
Fee: $270 payable by September 1, or $140 by September
1 and $140 by November 1

Piano Lessons (children

Individual
lessons stress a comprehensive music curriculum which
includes skill development in note reading, improvisation,
keyboard theory, and repertoire. Lessons prepare students for
